    Dover International Speedway

Dover International Speedway has hosted NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races since 1969. The high-banked, one-mile concrete oval hosts two NASCAR tripleheader weekends per year, which include NASCAR XFINITY Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East events.

Seating capacity is 85,000, making the “Monster Mile” one of the biggest sporting venues in the mid-Atlantic region. Built by the Melvin L. Joseph Construction Co. in the late 1960s, the racing surface was originally asphalt before the switch was made to concrete prior to the 1995 racing season. Bankings are 24-degrees in the turns and 9-degrees in the straightaways. The speedway is owned and operated by Dover Motorsports..
